A comprehensive book on India that covers EVERYTHING on its way from politics to the people and comparisons with our envious neighbours. Edward Luce's work and research is highly commendable. A must read book for people who want to know the story of India and why India is a nation that is on the threshold of greatness despite its plethora of limitations. The story of India is a unique one as a fair percent of the population are unaware and remain oblivious to the fact that India might just be able to achieve super power status in due time. Drawing quotes from Amartya Sen, Abdul Kalam, Sonia Gandhi, Advani and various eminent figures the book gives a full fledge view on India's failures and India's strong points.
