Geronimo Stilton: A Fabumouse School Adventure starts off with all the wrong things happening to Geronimo. Geronimo’s the kind of mouse that follows a fixed routine of getting up at late, having a hearty breakfast, and then setting off to work. His alarm clock went off an hour early, which he immediately turned off. But there’s one thing that stopped him from sleeping late, it’s his nephew’s Career Day at school and Geronimo’s the guest speaker.
Career Day at Benjamin’s school required different rodents to talk about their professions, and he was going to tell Benjamin’s class about his profession, which is that of a writer, publisher, and editor. Geronimo publishes the most renowned newspaper, which all rodents in New Mouse City read, and it is called The Rodent’s Gazette. The thought about speaking in front of Benjamin’s friends and teachers makes Geronimo highly nervous, and his paws start sweating, his whiskers shake, and his tail quivers. Geronimo’s a shy mouse who suffers from terrible stage fright. His family members and friends add to his nervousness by telling him that Benjamin looks up to him.
After entering the school, Geronimo begins to recollect the time he attended the same school himself. While Geronimo went to Benjamin’s school to make him proud, a series of unexpected events take place. Geronimo triggers a volcanic eruption, frees the class’s pet gecko, and is tangled in the playground’s tunnel slide. Is Geronimo able to make Benjamin proud, even after his numerous goof-ups? Till date, over 65 million copies of her stories have been sold worldwide in 35 languages. She has authored over 100 books through the course of her career. Dami currently resides in Italy.
