Elisabetta Dami is the creator of the popular character Geronimo in the Geronimo Stitlon series. She, who writes under the pseudonym of Geronimo Stilton, has also written other books in the series, including Geronimo Stilton #15 The Mona Mousa Code, The Christmas Toy Factory, The Peculiar Pumpkin Thief, A Very Merry Christmas and Geronimo Stilton #6 Paws Off, Cheddar Face!. She was born in 1958 in Milan, Italy. She began her career as a proofreader at a young age and started writing at the age of nineteen. She attained fame worldwide with the Geronimo Stilton comics, which have been translated into many languages.
