In Mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Geronimo attempts to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. Geronimo Stilton is a mouse and the title character of the Geronimo Stilton series. He is the editor of The Rodent’s Gazette of New Mouse City, Mouse Island, is off again, on another adventure. As always, this trip is also against his will. He just can’t say ‘no’ to a friend. He would love to be left alone in peace, to stay at home after work, enjoying a book. But, his sister Thea and his friend Bruce Hyena decide that it is time he got out of the rut. So, Bruce Hyena convinces Geronimo to accompany him on a mountain climbing trip to Africa. They are headed for the snow clad peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the middle of Africa, surrounded by wildlife, high peaks and snow, and other unknown dangers. Geronimo does not like the idea at all, but he is in anyway. Geronimo has a cheery start to his journey, with Bruce asking him to make sure his will is up-to-date and that he has made proper arrangements for his funeral.
Elisabetta Dami, a children’s fiction writer from Italy, is the creator of the popular character Geronimo Stilton, and she uses the name of this mouse as her pseudonym for the popular Geronimo Stilton series.
