The following format is used in this book-first Chanakya's neeti is written in Sanskrit, then it's meaning is written without polluting it with interpretation and then authors own interpretation is written. It's the third part which kills this book. The times in which this neeti was given were different from these times and so Chanakya's thinking about women differs from our times. Every time chanakya says something about women, the author has apologized for that. He could have done that once in the beginning of the book. Even in other places, it is apparent that the author has tried to be Chanakya himself and failed miserably in trying to do so.
