A novel growing in pre-revolution French era and cult story describing human pains... but has been loosely translated, goes back and forth, gets boring and reader will lose interest beyond a point.

Aftr completing the novel, I just wonder why this novel has got an international fame. May be i have read translation of the original form but still even story is not an extra ordinary spark at all.....:-(((
